Mod logo.png

E-Creatures are a variant of normal Creatures found on Extinction. They all have new color patterns, 5% more health and deal 5% less damage. On top of that, E-Creatures are separated to three categories, much like  R-Creatures are separated to Eden and Rockwell variants and  X-Creatures are separated by their biome.

Deserted E-Creatures

These creatures roam Desert Dome on the Badlands, cliffs and less commonly in The Narrows and are immune to most sources of  Enflamed debuff.

These sources include:

While deserted creatures are immune to Enflamed, it needs to be noted that they're not immune to fire damage itself (E-creature standing in a puddle of lit Oil will receive damage but won't be set on fire).

There are currently 4 Deserted E-Creatures in the mod, those being:

Utility

E-Creatures, in addtion to roles of their respective creatures, can also serve as:

Deserted Creatures

  • PvP mounts: While enflamed applied by tamed creatures isn't as threatening as one applied by tamed ones, Deserted E-Creatures are still a decent pick for combat, due to their tankier nature and special abilities of some. Tame  Giganotosauruses and  Thorny Dragons.
  • Magmasaur and Fire Wyvern counter: One Deserted Creature in particular, the E-Giganoto, is pretty tanky and can help fighting off wild Magmasaurs, Fire Wyverns and Corrupted Wyverns.

Forested Creatures

  • Wasteland travelling mounts: Forested E-Creatures have many immunities that allow them to scale the corrupted earth with little to no issue. They can't be killed nor weakened by most debuffs applied by Corrupted Creatures, which allows to travel a little more safe. Tame  Dinopithecuses,  Sinomacropses and  Tapejaras.
  • OSD Defenders: There are pretty powerful creatures in the list of forested variants, which can aid the player in OSD defense, having a bit more tanking utility than most of other picks. Tame  Dinopithecuses,  Therizinosauruses,  Trikes and  Ravagers.

Frosted Creatures

  • PvP mounts: Frosted E-Creatures are partially immune to creature, considered most toxic tame of ARK by many - Managarmr and creatures representing this variant have their ways of reducing its damage as well. Tame  Yutyrannuses,  Mammoths and  Daeodons.
  • Travelling mounts for extreme temperatures: Insulation provided by Frosted Creatures is priceless for biome Domes and Sulfur Fields. Tame  Amargasaurus.
