Glacial Drake is a new mini-boss added in Fixed Extinction.
Basic info
Behavior
Glacial Drake inhabits the entirety of Snow Dome. It acts like most of this region's predators - attacking every player and herbivore in its path. Once in combat, Drake will use all of its tricks and abilities, of which it has many, to claim victory.
Appearance
Glacial Drake uses Atlas' Drake model. It's just slightly bigger than a Rex in terms of height. Despite being called a drake, its four legs limbs and separate wings make it appearance closer to a dragon. It has a small horn on its snout, a pair of bigger horns growing out of its head and several spikes on both head and neck. Fins grow on along Drake's entire upper body, starting on forehead, through its back to the very tip of the tail, also ended with both-sided fin.
Color Scheme and Regions
The Glacial Drake's range of its natural color scheme is unknown at this time, however its color regions are available. For demonstration, the regions below are colored red over an albino Glacial Drake.
This information can be used to alter the Glacial Drake's regions by entering cheat SetTargetDinoColor <ColorRegion> <ColorID>
in the cheat console. For instance, cheat SetTargetDinoColor 1 6
would color the Glacial Drake's "" magenta.

Combat
General
Glacial Drakes can certainly tank a few hits with their health reaching between 15-25k on level 150 and the ability to summon Daeodon companion, which can heal some of the damage taken.
Strategy
Glacial Drake isn't too good at swimming and so, it is wise to take advantage of Snow Dome's many natural water reservoirs. When in water, a single Thylacoleo can be used to deplete its enormous health pool. Alternatively, a group of Spinosaurus can be used to quickly deal huge amounts of damage to the mini-boss with their attack amplified by hydration buff. Shadowmanes can be used if available.
While fighting on land, player can use Rexes as damage dealers and help them using a Mammoth or Yutyrannus's buffs and debuffs.
A File:Mod Fixed Extinction Theo Tyrannus.png Theo Tyrannus can go toe to toe with Glacial Drake, having the same bleeding debuff, an additional weakened debuff and overall better stats than the Drake.
Fixed Extinction adds possibility to obtain Wyverns on the Extinction map, making those a valid option for people that can't transfer them. Player can use any of three base wyverns or an Ice Wyvern (assuming at least one Glacial Drake was killed before) to deal with the mini-boss from above, although it can be a tedious process when using weak wyvern.
Rhyniognatha, if available, can be used to grab the Drake and drop it off in some sort of a cage. Drake won't become aggressive towards Rhynio unless provoked.
Weaponry
Given the environment Glacial Drake resides in, it's best to use at least Fur Armor. Net Projectiles can be used to cripple any of Drake's abilities that could potentially pose a threat.
Dangers
Bleeding attack and powerful stats of this creature will certainly be a bit of a hassle in combat. Make sure your tames can defeat drake while avoiding bleed-inducing swipes.
Weakness
Glacial Drake can be outran by the player and will easily lose interest in them if there is another creature, closer than the player.

- Unlike Atlas' Drake, Glacial Drake can't fly.
- Before Glacial Drake, there was another miniboss for Snow Dome - Frosted Elemental. Reason for this change was never revealed.
