Shredder Mek is a new type of Mek added in Fixed Extinction.
Basic info
Behavior
Shredder Mek doesn't spawn naturally and needs to be summoned with File:Mod Fixed Extinction Unassembled Shredder Mek.png Unassembled Shredder Mek . As normal Mek, it doesn't have an AI and doesn't move.
Appearance
Shredder Mek uses Mega Mek's model with a symbol on its back, constructed using Tek Jump Pad along with two serrated swords pointed upwards. It wields a spear instead of a sword and a scythe in its normally free hand.
Color Scheme and Regions
The Shredder Mek's range of its natural color scheme is unknown at this time, however its color regions are available. For demonstration, the regions below are colored red over an albino Shredder Mek.
This information can be used to alter the Shredder Mek's regions by entering cheat SetTargetDinoColor <ColorRegion> <ColorID>
in the cheat console. For instance, cheat SetTargetDinoColor 1 6
would color the Shredder Mek's "" magenta.

Combat
General
Shredder Mek needs to be piloted to pose a threat, making its actions unpredictable.
This Mek is much more combat-oriented than other Titanus Meks. It's hard to escape while not using a flyer or a fast mount like a Managarmr.
Strategy
Shredder can be fought head-on with Titans, late game creatures likes of Giganotosaurus, bred Rexes or the File:Mod Fixed Extinction Nileodon.png Nileodon .
Bring good saddles, a Mammoth and Yutyrannus to decrease received damage.
Weaponry
In case something went wrong, you should have a Tek Chestpiece to easily escape.
Dangers
Shredder Mek is quite durable and hits like a truck. It's better not to approach it without powerful tames.
Weakness
Shredder Mek has poor turning radius and can go into falling animation when running on steep terrain. You can use that to trick the pilot and gain priceless seconds to escape.
Taming
Shredder Mek can be tamed by using the File:Mod Fixed Extinction Unassembled Shredder Mek.png Unassembled Shredder Mek . It always spawns at level 1.
Utility
Roles
- Shadow Titan Fighter: Unassembled Shredder Mek's description says its purpose is to fight the Forest Titan. It is immune to its grab attack, which makes it an option worth to consider.
- Transport: Shredder Mek is very fast and has good weight, which can be used to carry resources or OSD loot to the base.
- Cheap DPS: Shredder Mek can be crafted using materials found in Sanctuary, meaning the player doesn't have to fight powerful Corrupted Creatures to gain access to this destructive robot. The only issue is that it unlocks at level 95, which means one will not make use of it until late game, unless they use a transferred character.

Notes/Trivia
- Wild Mek's levels can go only to Health, Stamina, Weight, Melee Damage or Movement Speed.
