Tomahawk is a melee weapon added in Fixed Extinction. It's a primitive axe used for melee combat.

This weapon can be crafted or obtained by killing any of the mod's mini-bosses, save for File:Mod Fixed Extinction Shadow Guardian.png Shadow Guardian .

Its attack speed is comparable to the sword, giving Tomahawk about 67 DPS on average.

Tomahawk applies Busted status effect for 7 seconds for the hit target, which slows creatures down tremendously. The effect works on every non-boss creature, including flyers.

This weapon is mainly used to escape from fast predators and can be used to ease up taming processes or to slow down enemy tribes and their dinos.
