Combat
General
Forest Wyvern fights nearly identical to a vanilla Fire Wyvern, except it will give up after some time without being attacked.
Strategy
Any method used to kill a Fire Wyvern will take care of the Forest Wyvern as well, however this one can be taken care of even with a few well-placed shots from a primitive Pump-Action Shotgun or quickly putting it to sleep and then beating up.
Weaponry
Since Forest Wyvern is airborne, ranged weaponry is highly advised.
Dangers
Fire Breath leaves the same DoT effect as the vanilla Fire Wyvern's, additionally, Fixed Extinction adds Ravagers and File:Mod Fixed Extinction Naga.png Naga s to the Crater Forest. Those creatures can be a handful to the player. Watch out for your surroundings.
Weakness
Forest Wyverns will stop pursuing the player after some time, making it easier to escape if needed. Their low health also makes them much easier to kill.
Taming
The Forest Wyvern is tamed non-violently in a similar manner to a Crystal Wyvern, by feeding it Meat or Simple Kibble. Before you try and domesticate one, it is suggested to make sure your surroundings are safe, as aggressive File:E-Creatures.png E-Creatures can interfere with taming process. When wyvern lands, get on it's back and then start feeding it. Remember to take several Parachutes in case you would fall off the wyvern.

Utility
Abilities
C (on the ground) - Does a wing flap like a vanilla Wyvern.
C (while flying) - Forest Wyvern picks up creatures with the same weight limit as a Wyvern.
Roles
- Early Game Flying Mount: Forest Wyverns can make for a great early game mount, as they can fly, breath fire, gather thatch and wood quickly and are pretty fast, all while being able to be passively tamed with any type of meat.
- Wood/Thatch/Cactus Sap Collector: Like vanilla Wyverns, Forest Wyverns can collect tons of wood, thatch, and cactus sap with their wing flapping ability used with C key. They will collect thatch and cactus sap much more efficiently than wood.
- Travel: Forest Wyverns can level up speed unlike other flyers, which makes them an excellent choice for a travelling mount. Remember that their turning radius will get bigger when leveling up speed.
- Transport/Taming Mount: Despite its size, Forest Wyvern can carry the same creatures that a vanilla Wyvern can, allowing for a quick transport of creatures to base or traps. Level up speed and stamina.
- War Mount: While not as strong as vanilla Wyverns, they still can wreck havoc. They can quickly attack the target and fly away. Due to their size, it's also harder to hit them. Level up health, damage, stamina and speed.
