Raw Fish Meat is a food item in ARK: Survival Evolved. It can be obtained by harvesting Fish.
Usage
Raw Fish Meat can be used to tame Carnivores when they are unconscious. Open the inventory of the creature you want to tame and put the Raw Fish inside of it.
If eaten raw by a survivor, Raw Fish Meat replenishes Food by 5 points, but decreases
Health by 1.5 points. It replenishes less food than
Raw Meat, but also doesn't decrease health as much.
If eaten by a tamed or untamed carnivore, 1 Raw Fish Meat restores 25 points of food and 2.5 points of health (exactly one half the value of regular raw meat).
Raw Fish Meat can also be cooked at a Campfire or
Industrial Grill to create
Cooked Fish Meat. Cooked Fish replenishes more food and spoils slower than Raw Fish. It takes 20 seconds to cook Raw Fish Meat in a Campfire.
Gathering
Collection
To easily collect Raw Fish Meat set an Otter or
Ichthyornis on wander near a lake or a pond and they will passively collect raw fish meat by killing
Fish.
Industrial quantities of fish meat can be acquired by venturing inside caves such as Snow Cave, The Caverns of Lost Hope and The Caverns of Lost Faith. Creatures such as Basilosaurus will have many
Manta surrounding it, providing large amounts of fish meat.

Raw Fish Meat can be harvested from the following types of Fish:
