Fiber is a resource in ARK: Survival Evolved. It can be acquired by harvesting plants by hand, or more effectively with a  Metal Sickle, or by using a  Moschops,  Gigantopithecus,  Dire Bear and/or a  Therizinosaur.

Fiber is one of the early base raw materials in Ark and is used in many crafting recipes as an ingredient. The easiest way to gain fiber is to gather it using your hands, but there are more efficient methods. Crafting a metal sickle isn't possible until the player reaches level 30, however, a Gigantopithecus can be tamed at any level, though it is risky to attempt this without the proper tools to defend oneself. Fiber can also be found in white and green Supply Crates.
