The Excavation Rig is a rig found on  Tek Stryders in ARK: Survival Evolved, allowing for the harvesting of resources. As with other rigs, the Excavation Rig cannot be removed from a Tek Stryder.

Usage

The rig can be toggled on and off by using Rmb, , , , doing so will harvest resources in front of the Tek Stryder. Activating the rig will cause the Tek Stryder to lose  Charge and harvest all nodes in front of it, the rig will need to be toggled off to stop this. Hitting a creature with the excavation beam will not damage the creature.

While the Tek Stryder may not harvest as efficiently per node as other creatures, it can harvest almost all nearby nodes at a once.

Notes

• Spawned in rigs cannot be dropped, transferred, or equipped.
• Due to this rig's efficiency, it frequently fills the Stryder's inventory to the maximum item limit when harvesting.
