Fungal Wood is a resource introduced in Aberration and also available on Valguero, Genesis: Part 1, Crystal Isles, Genesis: Part 2, Lost Island, and Fjordur. On Extinction it is substituted by  Corrupted Wood.

Harvesting

It can be harvested from large mushrooms using tools, creatures, or your bare hands, but is most efficiently harvested with a  Chainsaw.

Usage

Fungal wood is a very valuable resource in Aberration due to its many uses and the high quantities of it required in crafting. It can be used in any crafting recipe that requires normal  Wood, but there are certain Aberration engrams that require specifically Fungal Wood such as the  Shag Rug
