24Cactus Sap is a consumable introduced in Scorched Earth and also available on Ragnarok, Extinction, Valguero, Genesis: Part 1, Crystal Isles, Genesis: Part 2 and Lost Island. It can be consumed to sate hunger.
Gathering
Cactus sap is harvested from cacti seen around the map. The smaller cacti can be harvested with hands or, more efficiently, using a 
Whip. The larger ones require a tool such as a 
Pick or 
Hatchet - with the 
Chainsaw being the most efficient.
On Extinction, cacti can be found in the Desert Dome.
In Genesis: Part 1, frozen cacti can be found in the Arctic Biome and can be harvested for sap.
Can also be found on Valguero.
Weight Reduction
The following creatures reduce the weight of Cactus Sap by the listed amount while it is in their inventory:

Notes
- The tool tip states that the Cactus Sap should sate thirst when consumed, but at the moment it will only sate hunger on the Scorched Earth map.
- At the moment, harvesting the resource will give water instead of eating the sap.
- In
ARK: Survival Evolved, the Cactus Sap itself provided no hydration, with such being derived from harvesting the cactus itself. - In
ARK: Survival Ascended, the Cactus Sap itself provides hydration instead of harvesting the respective source plant.
