Bug Repellant
This gnarly paste makes you nearly invisible to bugs, bats and spiders. Just don't attack them or get too close, and they'll ignore you! Effect lasts 10 minutes.

Bug Repellant is a consumable in ARK: Survival Evolved. Upon use, it reduces the aggressiveness of certain insects and other creatures towards the user.
The specific results of the effect are:
Titanomyrma, 
Meganeura, and 
Leeches will ignore the user unless attacked first.
Araneo, 
Arthropluera, 
Onyc, 
Manta, and 
Mantis will act the same way as the 
Gigantopithecus, passive, but aggressive when touched, which allows the user to tame these creatures non-violently.
Hyaenodon reduces its detection range of any player or creature with the bug repellant effect active.- Be warned,
Pulmonoscorpius won't change their curious behavior and sense your presence. However, they may not attack you even if touched the first few times. Should one approach you, stay still and shield yourself. If they attack, a sword will take them easily.
The effect lasts for 10 minutes. During the duration of the effect, a translucent pale green haze will be emitted from the user and their tames.
The Bug Repellant is also the 
Pachyrhinosaurus' favorite taming food, where it fills up 25 food-units per Bug Repellant.
Usage
Bug repellant can be extremely useful for survivors and their tames that venture into caves, as it greatly reduces the threat of being attacked by a variety of dangerous cave creatures. It's also necessary for the taming process of those very same creatures. Additionally, it can make oceanic and coastal ventures somewhat less dangerous as it will help you avoid attack from Manta swarms.
Spoil times
Unlike most other items crafted in the 
Mortar and Pestle and 
Chemistry Bench, bug repellant can spoil, so preservation may be required.
