The Ceratosaurus Egg is one of the Eggs in ARK: Survival Ascended.

Overview

Ceratosaurus Eggs are randomly dropped by  Ceratosaurus. They can be eaten or used to make  Extraordinary Kibble for taming  Astrocetus,  Griffin,  Megalania,  Rock Elemental,  Thylacoleo, and  Yutyrannus.

After two  Ceratosaurus mate, the resulting egg can be hatched into a baby  Ceratosaurus.

Grabbing an egg in the presence of wild  Ceratosaurus will cause them to become hostile and attack the survivor.

Collecting

Can either be collected from wild Ceratosaurus or from tamed ones.

Stealing an egg from a wild mother will cause her to chase you relentlessly.

By taming a female, you can collect her eggs without her becoming aggressive. She will lay them more often if you have a male Ceratosaurus for the Mate Boost and an Oviraptor near by.
