The Gallimimus Egg is one of the Eggs in ARK: Survival Evolved.

Overview

Gallimimus Eggs are randomly dropped by  Gallimimuses. They can be eaten or used to make  Simple Kibble for taming  Archaeopteryx,  Diplocaulus,  Gallimimus,  Giant Bee,  Ichthyosaurus,  Iguanodon,  Megaloceros,  Morellatops,  Pachy,  Raptor, and  Triceratops.

After two  Gallimimuses mate, the resulting egg can be hatched into a baby  Gallimimus.

Grabbing an egg in the presence of wild  Gallimimuses will cause them to become hostile and attack the survivor.

Incubation

Disambig.png Main article: Incubation

The Gallimimus Egg takes 1h 25m 42.446s to hatch. It must be in the temperature range of 24 to 28 °C / 75 to 82 °F to successfully hatch, otherwise it will start to lose  Health. The female  Gallimimus needs between 18h and 2d before having the capacity to lay eggs again. The incubation time can be reduced by up to 20% if the egg is placed in an  Egg Incubator at the ideal temperature.

As they are extremely fast, running is not an option when getting Gallimimus Eggs. You only have one option and that is to fight. It shouldn't be a problem for even beginner players as they have low base health and damage.
