Narcoberry
This fairly common black berry makes you sleepy when you eat it. Bitter, but can be used to make black dye.

80The Narcoberry is one of the 
Berries in ARK: Survival Evolved. It can be found by harvesting flora around the island while pressing E,

to harvest bushes. Then you can then feed them to unconscious players or dinos to increase their ,
Torpor.
When consumed, Narcoberries increase the Torpor by 7.5 points over 3 seconds. This is especially useful for taming dinosaurs as it can keep them unconscious for longer periods of time. When eaten by a survivor, the Narcoberry restores 4.0 points of 
Food but also increases Torpor by 7.5.

*Keep in mind that a full stack of preserving salts will spoil in 2 hours for all of these containers and must be restocked periodically in order to maximize the spoil time.

Crafting
The Narcoberry can also be used together with Spoiled Meat in the Mortar and Pestle or Chemistry Bench to create 
Narcotic. Narcotic is often more useful for taming than Narcoberries because it doesn't spoil.
Narcoberries are also used to craft several 
Dyes.
