Medical Brew is a tonic in ARK: Survival Evolved. It can be created at a  Cooking Pot or an  Industrial Cooker.

Overview

Consuming this item heals the player, regaining 40 points of  Health over 5 seconds. It takes 30s to brew in the  Cooking Pot, or 2.5s to brew in the  Industrial Cooker.

It cannot be used on tamed creatures, instead requiring  Raw Meat for carnivores or  Sweet Vegetable Cake for herbivores to achieve a similar effect.

It is also commonly referred to as a "med brew".

Be sure to include a  Waterskin,  Water Jar or  Canteen with at least 25% water in the Cooking Pot, and remove any  Charcoal during the cooking process to avoid the creation of any dyes.  Thatch,  Sparkpowder, or  AnglerGel can also be used as fuel to reduce the risk of accidentally producing dyes. Thatch and AnglerGel are not used at all by dyes, while there are not enough ingredients for Sparkpowder to produce dyes if only those for the brew are present.

*Keep in mind that a full stack of preserving salts will spoil in 2 hours for all of these containers and must be restocked periodically in order to maximize the spoil time.

Notes

• You can find a  Recipe dropped by some animals but you don't need it or any blueprint to cook the brew.
• Be careful when cooking, as if there is  Charcoal inside the Pot or Cooker you will get  Red Coloring instead.
• Both medical brew and energy brew are among the easiest Rockwell recipes to make.
