Sparkpowder is a resource in ARK: Survival Evolved. It can be created by grinding  Flint with  Stone in the  Mortar and Pestle, each grind will yield 2 sparkpowders.

Sparkpowder can be used as a fuel source, and is the primary fuel for the Preserving Bin. It is also a crafting ingredient for various items including Gunpowder, which is needed to make ammunition for firearms.

Sparkpowder is used in a Preserving Bin to make perishables (like Meat and Berries) last 10 times longer before spoiling. It is also needed to create various  Dyes.

• Sparkpowder is likely meant to be analogous to the real life mineral potassium nitrate aka "saltpeter," a substance used in primitive food preservation as well as being a principle component in gunpowder.
• Sparkpowder blueprints can no longer be spawned. If the "cheat giveitemnum 108 1 0 1" command is used there will only spawn one item of Sparkpowder. You MUST learn the engram to be able to make it.
