Condensed GasCongealed Gas Ball is a resource introduced in Aberration and also available on Extinction, Valguero, Genesis: Part 1, Crystal Isles and Genesis: Part 2. They are used for crafting various items.
Obtaining
To obtain the gas blobs, a 
Gas Collector has to be placed on a Gas Vein. The collector will then extract Congealed Gas Blobs over time.
As an alternative gas blobs spawn near a Vein after an eruption, and can be picked up there.
Extinction & Genesis Part 2
In the DLC Extinction and Genesis: Part 2 a Congealed Gas Ball is crafted from heating one Condensed Gas in a 
Refining Forge.

Tek Railgun
Gas-Crafted
Gasoline (Gas-Crafted) is a crafting option found within a 
Chemistry Bench and requires 20x Congealed Gas Balls and 20x 
Green Gem . The icon shown within the Chemistry Bench is a Condensed Gas, but selecting to craft Gas-Crafted Gasoline will produce standard 
Gasoline within the bench's inventory.
- Can be crafted at the Chemistry Bench after learning the Gas Collector Engram.
