The Poison Grenade is one of the Explosives in ARK: Survival Evolved. It is unlocked at Level 40 for 18 Engram Points.

Poison Grenades explode into clouds of narcotic gas that rapidly increases the  Torpor of enemy survivors. However, creatures are completely immune to the gas, with only Humans being affected by it. Additionally, Poison Grenades have a much shorter fuse than other grenades, being 2.5 seconds instead of 5, meaning that they must be used more quickly.

Notes

• The Poison Grenade can currently be used in PVE.
• Poison Grenades are very useful for raiding enemy bases as they can knock out most players with ease. Keeping them unconscious also keeps them from respawning and having another chance to kill you.
•  Auto Turrets will shoot down Poison Grenades.
• In PVE, the Poison Grenade will only affect yourself and tribemates as of v228.2.
