Attachments are items that can be equipped to a weapon to modify it. This can be weapon attachments or different kinds of ammunition for the Shotgun, Pistol, Longneck Rifle, and Fabricated weapons (excluding the Compound Bow).

How to use

To equip an attachment to a weapon the attachment has to be dragged onto the weapon. This goes for changing the attachment too. The previous attachment will be dropped in the inventory.

To unequip an attachment it can be shift-dragged from the weapon into the desired inventory slot.

Changing the attachment does not require any crafting time.

Use N, x 2, or on the keyboard/controller to switch the attachment on/off.

Notes

• Due to certain settings in ARK, most attachments may be considered useless on some servers. I.e, attachments that give crosshairs to certain weapons being rendered useless due to the enable crosshair being ticked.
• On console, / must be pressed twice to toggle the attachment.
