The Snow Owl Egg is one of the Eggs introduced in Extinction and also available on Genesis: Part 2 and Lost Island.

Overview

Snow Owl Eggs are randomly dropped by  Snow Owl. They can be eaten or used to make  Superior Kibble for taming  Allosaurus,  Argentavis,  Castoroides, ,  Daeodon,  Dire Bear,  Direwolf,  Dunkleosteus,  Gasbags,  Mammoth,  Megalodon,  Megalosaurus,  Megatherium,  Paraceratherium,  Plesiosaur,  Snow Owl,  Tapejara, and  Woolly Rhino.

After two  Snow Owl mate, the resulting egg can be hatched into a baby  Snow Owl.

Grabbing an egg in the presence of wild  Snow Owl will cause them to become hostile and attack the survivor.

Incubation

Disambig.png Main article: Incubation

The Snow Owl Egg takes 2h 56m 27.389s to hatch. It must be in the temperature range of 12 to 13.5 °C / 54 to 56 °F to successfully hatch, otherwise it will start to lose  Health. The female  Snow Owl needs between 18h and 2d before having the capacity to lay eggs again. The incubation time can be reduced by up to 20% if the egg is placed in an  Egg Incubator at the ideal temperature.
