The Gigantoraptor Egg is one of the Eggs in ARK: Survival Ascended.

Overview

Gigantoraptor Eggs are randomly dropped by  Gigantoraptors. They can be eaten or used to make  Superior Kibble for taming  Allosaurus,  Argentavis,  Castoroides, ,  Daeodon,  Dire Bear,  Direwolf,  Dunkleosteus,  Gasbags,  Mammoth,  Megalodon,  Megalosaurus,  Megatherium,  Paraceratherium,  Plesiosaur,  Snow Owl,  Tapejara, and  Woolly Rhino.

After two  Gigantoraptors mate, the resulting egg can be hatched into a baby  Gigantoraptor.

Grabbing an egg in the presence of wild  Gigantoraptors will cause them to become hostile and attack the survivor.

The incubation time can be reduced by up to 20% if the egg is placed in an  Egg Incubator at the ideal temperature.

Collecting

Can either be collected from wild Gigantoraptor or from tamed ones.

Stealing an egg from a wild mother will cause her to chase you relentlessly.

By taming a female, you can collect her eggs without her becoming aggressive. She will lay them more often if you have a male Gigantoraptor for the Mate Boost and an Oviraptor near by.
