Fria Curry is a dish in ARK: Survival Evolved. It can be created in a  Cooking Pot or  Industrial Cooker.

Overview

Consume it to gain +50 increased hypothermal insulation, and slow your rate of food consumption by 25%. The Effects last 15 minutes (900 seconds).

Be sure to include a Waterskin, Water Jar or Canteen with at least 25% water in the Cooking Pot, and remove any Charcoal during the cooking process to avoid the creation of any dyes. Alternatively,  Thatch can be used as fuel in order to prevent the creation of Charcoal during the cooking process to avoid the need for a player to oversee charcoal removal.

Each Curry takes 60 seconds to make in the Cooking Pot.

The Fria Curry can be extremely useful in situations where extreme cold may be the biggest threat to a player's survival, for example when exploring a cave or the Snow Biome. A Fria Curry is beyond valuable if attempting to complete the Snow Cave, or any cave that causes the player to freeze.

Notes

Lore

  • The Fria curry was the first recipe Rockwell made during the events of the lore.
    • He noted that earlier stages of the curry only had nutrition, but later stages soon gave rise to the in-game's effects.
