The Citronal ( Si-Tron-Al ) is one of the 4 Crops in the game. It is harvested from a plant grown from a Citronal Seed on a medium or large crop plot. A Citronal plant can only hold up to 150 Citronal in a crop plot at a time.

This item expires very quickly once removed from the crop plot in a similar fashion to raw prime meat, but its durability can be extended by a short time using a Preserving Bin or Refrigerator. It is strongly and highly recommended that players do not pick Citronal from a crop plot until the time comes to use it immediately or eminently.

You can find Citronal seeds by harvesting any plant on any map.

Crafting

The Citronal is needed to craft Bug Repellant and different cooking Recipes, as well as some Kibble.

Taming

While it does not speed up the taming process, it restores more hunger than berries, thus increasing the overall taming effectiveness.

Notes

The Citronal is actually a lemon, lemon is the member of Citrus, Citrus fruits including many species of Orange.
Unlike all other crops, Citronal fruit does not exist in the wild(any Map), which means it can only be obtained via farming.
