The Tropeognathus Egg is an egg introduced in the Expansion Map Crystal Isles.

Overview

Tropeognathus Eggs are randomly dropped by  Tropeognathus. They can be eaten or used to make  Superior Kibble for taming  Allosaurus,  Argentavis,  Castoroides, ,  Daeodon,  Dire Bear,  Direwolf,  Dunkleosteus,  Gasbags,  Mammoth,  Megalodon,  Megalosaurus,  Megatherium,  Paraceratherium,  Plesiosaur,  Snow Owl,  Tapejara, and  Woolly Rhino.

After two  Tropeognathus mate, the resulting egg can be hatched into a baby  Tropeognathus.

Grabbing an egg in the presence of wild  Tropeognathus will cause them to become hostile and attack the survivor.

Incubation

Disambig.png Main article: Incubation

The Tropeognathus Egg takes 1h 39m 59.52s to hatch. It must be in the temperature range of 29 to 32 °C / 84 to 90 °F to successfully hatch, otherwise it will start to lose  Health. The female  Tropeognathus needs between 18h and 2d before having the capacity to lay eggs again. The incubation time can be reduced by up to 20% if the egg is placed in an  Egg Incubator at the ideal temperature.
