The Terror Bird Egg is one of the Eggs in ARK: Survival Evolved.

Overview

Terror Bird Eggs are randomly dropped by  Terror Birds. They can be eaten or used to make  Regular Kibble for taming  Anglerfish,  Ankylosaurus,  Baryonyx,  Beelzebufo,  Carbonemys,  Carnotaurus,  Dimetrodon,  Diplodocus,  Doedicurus,  Gigantopithecus,  Ichthyornis,  Kaprosuchus,  Kentrosaurus,  Lymantria,  Pelagornis,  Pteranodon,  Pulmonoscorpius,  Purlovia,  Sabertooth,  Sarco,  Stegosaurus,  Terror Bird,  Thorny Dragon, and  Velonasaur.

After two  Terror Birds mate, the resulting egg can be hatched into a baby  Terror Bird.

Grabbing an egg in the presence of wild  Terror Birds will cause them to become hostile and attack the survivor.

Incubation

The Terror Bird Egg takes 1h 59m 59.424s to hatch. It must be in the temperature range of 20 to 28 °C / 68 to 82 °F to successfully hatch, otherwise it will start to lose  Health. The female  Terror Bird needs between 18h and 2d before having the capacity to lay eggs again. The incubation time can be reduced by up to 20% if the egg is placed in an  Egg Incubator at the ideal temperature.
