Fur Armor is one of the armor sets in ARK: Survival Evolved. It is unlocked at Level 23, costing 14 Engram Points for the cap, 16 Engram Points for the chestpiece and leggings, and 12 Engram Points for the gauntlets and boots for a total of 70 Engram Points for the full set.
Fur Armor provides moderate physical protection and excellent cold protection, though it does make the user much more susceptible to heat. It is the ideal armor set for surviving in cold places like the Snow Biome on The Island, being one of the few armor sets able to withstand those freezing temperatures. However, Fur Armor does not provide any cold protection when wet, making it practically useless when worn underwater.
A full set of Fur Armor provides 200 armor, 250 cold protection, and -105 heat protection. Each piece of Fur Armor has 120 Durability.

Notes
- Fur Armor is the first armor set able to be crafted at a
Smithy.
- Fur Armor is quite heavy, with the full set having a
Weight of 34. As such, it is recommended to put a considerable amount of points into the Weight stat if one plans on spending a lot of time in colder biomes.
- Despite Fur Armor providing excellent cold protection, the temperatures in places like the Snow Biome or the Snow Cave can get low enough to negate it. As such, it is highly recommended to increase the
Fortitude stat or bring sources of heat like 
Campfires or 
Standing Torches when venturing there.
- For some reason, higher quality Fur Armor is very complicated to get. The only way to get it is from
Loot Crates, 
Deep Sea Loot Crates, and Genesis missions.
