Hide Armor is one of the armor sets in ARK: Survival Evolved. It is unlocked at Level 15, costing 9 Engram Points for the hat and pants, 7 Engram Points for the gloves and boots, and 6 Engram Points for the shirt for a total of 38 Engram Points for the full set.
Hide Armor provides decent physical protection and good cold protection, though it does make the user more susceptible to heat. Like 
Cloth Armor, Hide Armor is easily crafted and repaired in the inventory, making obtaining entire new sets an easy task provided one has the resources to do so. Additionally, the added cold protection lets the user survive more easily in colder environments.
A full set of Hide Armor provides 100 armor, 85 cold protection, and -25 heat protection. Each piece of Hide Armor has 45 Durability.

- Some players may consider mixing pieces of Hide Armor and Cloth Armor early on to provide better protection against both heat and cold.
- While the cold protection provided by Hide Armor is suitable for surviving cold nights in temperate areas, it is insufficient for extremely cold places like the Snow Biome on The Island.
