Desert Cloth Armor is one of the armor sets in ARK: Survival Evolved, being introduced in the Scorched Earth expansion pack. It is unlocked at Level 28, costing 7 Engram Points for the goggles, gloves and boots, 4 Engram Points for the shirt and 5 Engram Points for the leggings for a total of 30 Engram Points for the full set.
Desert Cloth Armor provides moderate physical protection, minor cold protection, and excellent heat protection. While this protection against the heat makes Desert Cloth Armor perfect for surviving in the blisteringly hot environment of the desert ARK, its low cold protection could put the user in danger during the cold desert nights. Additionally, the goggles also protect the wearer's vision during Sandstorms.
A full set of Desert Cloth Armor provides 200 armor, 31 cold protection, and 130 heat protection. Each piece of Desert Cloth Armor has 45 Durability.

Notes
- The armor lists weapon damage as a stat bonus. This is a misleading Ark tool-tip and instead it applies to water consumption reduction.
- Despite being more expensive than
Ghillie Armor and requiring a 
Smithy to be crafted and repaired, Desert Cloth Armor is generally preferred by players on Scorched Earth due to 
Organic Polymer being much rarer on that map and the fact that it is unlocked at a lower level for almost half the Engram Points.
