Ghillie Armor is one of the armor sets in ARK: Survival Evolved. It is unlocked at Level 33, costing 13 Engram Points for the mask and 11 Engram Points for the chestpiece, gauntlets, leggings, and boots for a total of 57 Engram Points for the full set.
Ghillie armor provides moderate physical protection, minor cold protection, and excellent heat protection. It also provides a camouflage buff that reduces the visibility range of wild creatures by 50%, letting the user sneak up on or around them more easily. Additionally, the heat protection provided by Ghillie Armor lets the user survive more easily in places like the Lava Cave on The Island or on Scorched Earth.

Cloth Armor and 
Hide Armor, Ghillie Armor can be crafted and repaired in the inventory, though it requiring 
Organic Polymer to craft means that the user will have to actively hunt creatures that drop it if they wish to keep it in good condition.
A full set of Ghillie Armor provides 160 armor, 24 cold protection, and 155 heat protection. Each piece of Ghillie Armor has 45 Durability.

- Ghillie Armor is the strongest armor able to be crafted in the player's inventory.
- Ghillie Armor is also used for obtaining
Giant Bee Honey from allied 
Bee Hives.
- The camouflage buff provided by Ghillie Armor comes in especially handy for taming creatures like the
Equus and 
Mantis.
- A tamed
Achatina can not only produce Organic Polymer used to make Ghillie Armor but also extends the spoilage timer on it, making trips to hunt creatures like 
Kairuku or 
Hesperornis unnecessary.
- On Scorched Earth, Ghillie Armor can be difficult to acquire as you must hunt Mantises, which can be exceptionally difficult for low-level players. As such, most players prefer to use
Desert Cloth Armor unless they manage to obtain high quality pieces of Ghillie Armor from sources like 
Deep Sea Loot Crates.
- In Primitive Plus, Ghillie Armor doesn't require Organic Polymer and Hide for crafting, but
Feathers 
and 
Leather respectively, making it easier to craft at the DLC areas.
- In first person, some of the tips on the blades of grass are pink.
- In first person, Ghillie Gloves greatly obstruct the user's view of the map.
- The armor value of Ghillie Armor pieces caps at 451.4, and Durability caps at 782.
- In ARK: Survival Ascended, Desert Ghillie is a set of cosmetics introduced in Scorched Earth available from Level 1 and costing no Engram Points. They cost 1 Thatch to make (each), and can be found in the Cosmetics tab of your inventory. They can only be applied to Ghillie Armor, rendering them useless for customizing other types of armor.
Trivia
- Ghillie suits in real life are insulating and don't breathe very well, making them ill-suited for exceptionally warm environments unlike their in-game counterpart.
