Wild Stats Level-up

Type in values of a wild creature to see on which stats it's emphasized. Green values on a high-level creature are very good for breeding. If you have already tamed your creature you can try to recover the breeding stats with an external tool.[1]

The stat-calculator does not work in the mobile-view, see here for alternatives: Apps

Note that after the creature is tamed it gets bonuses on some stats depending on the taming effectiveness. This makes it hard to retrieve the levels on a tamed creature, so this tool is only for wild ones, but gives a first impression, how well the stats are distributed.

Combat

This section describes how to fight against the Brute Malfunctioned Tek Giganotosaurus.

General

The Brute Malfunctioned Tek Giganotasaurus is encountered in the mission "Hunting by Moonlight." It acts as a regular Giganotasaurus by virtue of a sizeable health pool (~100,000-110,000 Health), high damage, and the gnashing ability which drains health by a percentage. In the last phase of the hunt it is supported by three Brute Malfunctioned Tek Rexes which almost double its own health and deal very high damage.

Strategy

As a player you should avoid melee range at all costs as it is likely to kill a player in one or two hits, though you may survive a few more against the gamma version. Due to the lunar biome possibly causing you and your tames to be knocked off the area you're fighting at, even with heavy tames such as Rexes, strategies are rather limited. One way to trivialize the fight would be to have various survivors hovering over the brute with Bloodstalkers by utilizing their ability to fall slowly and jump in the air and just pelt it from the air out of its reach with high-damage weaponry. Alternatively you can use high areas to your advantage to stay safe. However the alpha version of this fight may be much harder due to the damage reduction the Brute Giga and Rexes get alongside the shortened time limit. For reference, the Brute Rexes on alpha have an effective health EACH that surpasses the alpha Dragon and can also kill survivors in only one or two hits. Add in the fact that an unexpected meteor shower can ruin your day and you have a very difficult fight on your hands, perhaps the most difficult PvE content that has ever been added.

The Gamma and Beta versions are much more forgiving but are still not easy. You will need a lot of firepower to succeed and the Brute Giga should always be the first one killed.

A Strategy to succeed against the alpha version is by hovering upon the giga and than shooting it by ridding velos, you will need imprinted velos with a high meleedamage. In the last stage the rexes will need too much time with the velos so after you killed the giga, you should fight the rexes with your breeded highdamage gigas (you will need a good saddle).

Using a Bloodstalker to hang from a high ledge while shooting with a high quality Tek Phase Pistol is a viable strategy. Beware that the Tek Pistol has a short range so it will require you to get closer to the brute to damage it. The nature of the Lunar allows for players to achieve heights with ease so making your way to a high enough ledge to shoot from is an easy option. Repeat this until the mission completes and bring lots of Element. Because the Giga will be accompanied by 3 Rexes at the end of the mission try to target specific gendered Rexes to remove the mate boost and deal more damage. An example is if there are two females and one male Rex you should target the male first to remove the mate boost and vice versa.

If you have a way to get wyvern milk it can be used to negate the bleed of the giga.

Weaponry

If you plan to stay at range then use any high-damage weaponry such as the Pump-Action Shotgun, Compound Bow, Assault Rifle, and Tek Rifle. Creatures that can stand a chance against the Gamma and Beta (if supported) include Rexes and Giganotosaurus and even Allosaurus, if you are able to get one. It's advised to use cryopods (Not recommened in PvP) to effectively get tames from one location to another during the hunt, should you need to jump to other landmasses.

Dangers

It can overpower almost anything it can attack, especially the alpha difficulty variant. Alongside a respectable health pool and being supported by three Tek Rex allies, getting caught in its range is almost certain death. He isnt really possible to fight in a short range battle on alpha difficulty due to his bleeding demage and his high damage reduction he will kill everything, before you will be able to defeat him (Ignoring the extremly high damage gigas from official server due to the fact that it takes years of breeding to create it (if you play on official its probably possible to defeat it in a close fight with 5 ridden fully imprinted 2000% meleedamage gigas with 124armor saddles))

Weakness

There are certain areas where you fight it in the hunt that it can't reach, allowing the players to freely fire away at it.
