The Center Arena is a location in the DLC: The Center. It appears to be an abandoned monastery worshipping the Megapithecus, as evidenced by various statues. The Arena is 6 °C or 42 °F So little Hypothermal protection is necessary.

Upon teleportation to the Center Arena, both the  Broodmother Lysrix and  Megapithecus will appear and fight the players at the same time. A timer will immediately begin counting down from 25 minutes, so both bosses must be defeated within that time. Once the timer lapses, all players, dinos, and items in the arena are destroyed.

Both bosses will always spawn at level 1. The Broodmother's  Araneo will always spawn at level 500. The Megapithecus'  Gigantopithecus and  Mesopithecus will always spawn at level 100

Combat

This section describes how to fight against the Broodmother Lysrix and Megapithecus.

General

This arena has no environmental danger, such as lava rivers or cliffs, so bringing a lot of unridden tames without controlling by players is quite safe.

Strategy

Use 1 tame to distract the Broodmother and have your other tames deal with the Megapithecus.

As always firearms should be used as a last resort.

Recommended Tames

• Duly note that having other people joining the boss fight wanting to unlock the engrams, need to be close to the bosses upon them dying. 1 Yuti and 14 Top stat Rexes is enough to run a hard, and it's very easy. ( Whistle follow on all Rexes while riding Yuti, and whistle attack my target , while roaring the rexes, will get the bosses killed within 5 min.
• A  Yutyrannus or 2 (preferably mate boosted) should always be brought into any arena as it's one of if not the most valuable creature for Boss fights due to its courage roar ability and good stats.
• Using several  Megatherium are probably the best fighting mounts you could bring to a Broodmother fight due to their increased damage to insects.
• The Common strategy of  Rex Rushing is almost always a good strategy for almost any boss due to their high health and damage.
• If players are willing to put the effort into micromanaging their food the  Daeodon can also be valuable due to their healing ability.
• Having a  Gallimimus can be useful to help distract the broodmother while your other tames take out the Megapithecus.

Notes

• Does not unlock the large Tek walls or homestead.
• The boss arena used to be entirely different with the arena instead being in a large underground cavern.
• You have to be unmounted and stand on the platform in order to get teleported to the arena.
• You must defeat The Bosses within the timer or you and your dinos will die and items will be lost.
• As of v257.0 not all the TEK engrams are obtainable on The Center map, even if the newly added dragon boss is completed. Please refer the gallery at the bottom for more details.
• Prior to an unknown update, Megapithecus in the arena for both Alpha and Beta instantly killed rider with its boulder throwing ability. This has been fixed.

• The arena can be located at the top of the mountain in the redwood biome and you can access it by ghosting through the barrier, it will function as an arena and tek can be used, also your Dino’s death bags can be found if you need to collect saddles or your own bag but the bosses will not be there unless summoned via any obelisk.

Compatible Tamed Creatures

Entry Restriction:

• A maximum of 10 survivors and 20 creatures are allowed to enter the arena. In the case of Tek Cave, a maximum of 10 survivors and 40 creatures are allowed, but only 20 creatures can be warped in at any point of time to the arena itself per warp.
• Most Arenas restrict survivors to ground-only creature. There are a few exceptions:
  • Scorched Earth - Flyers are permitted in this arena.
  • Aberration - Climbers are permitted in this arena. This includes  Enforcer,  Megalania,  Thylacoleo and  Rock Drake
  • Genesis - Sea Creatures are permitted in Moeder arena, and its drag weights are not considered when warping to the arena.
• Exceptions for certain arenas are only valid for the listed arenas. E.g. Manticore Arena refers to the Manticore Arena in Scorched Earth but not Ragnarok Arena where you also have to fight against the Manticore.
• A creature's "drag weight" must be less than 560. This is how much the creature itself weighs, not its carrying weight seen in its inventory.

To see this value in-game, place the creature on an  Elevator Platform with an empty inventory and no saddle.
