The Redwood Biome is a dangerous—yet rewarding—region located to the south of the map in the DLC: The Center that was added in PC patch 245.0.

Surroundings

To the far west lies the Edge of the World spanned by The Bridge to the mainland. To the north across the strait, one will find Jungle South, Secluded Island, Skull Island, and the Southern Tropical Island.
