The Gravestone is a decorative structure. It has similar functionality as the  Wooden Sign, as it is possible to write a short text on it. The Gravestone can also be dyed.

Notes

• Can be used as an alternative Sign.
• As of 273.882, the number of gravestones per area is limited to 150 on Official Servers. This limitation was introduced via a stealth update since it has never been mentioned in any patch note. Also the definition of an "area" is unknown.

• The Gravestone is treated as a stone structure and can only be damaged by:
  •  Metal Weapons (5%)
  •  Tek Sword (~218%)
  •  Explosives (150%)
  •  Ballista Turret (40%)
  •  Cannon (~137%)
  •  Therizinosaur (Headbutt only, ~2%)
  •  Arthropluera
  •  Chalicotherium

Painting and Color Regions

In addition to its preset paint regions, you can doodle on the Gravestone by "attacking" it with a  Paintbrush, which will open the "Apply Paint" Menu. Then, click and drag your cursor over the 3D model (like a paintbrush) to draw anything you want. See Painting for more information on doodling.
