Overview

The Storage Box is the first unlockable container in ARK: Survival Evolved. It can store up to 15 different item stacks, regardless of their weight.

It can be placed anywhere (does not require a foundation) and takes up a 1x1 space. It can also be placed next to an enemy behemoth gateway and near enemy foundations.

It can be PIN coded to deter potential looters, however doing so will require the looter to destroy the box to access its contents, and any items that are not stolen will decompose on the ground.

Notes

• Do not confuse this with Large Storage Box
• Despite appearing to be made of wood, the Storage Box takes damage as if it were thatch.

• The Storage Box is treated as a thatch structure and can be damaged by anything except non-explosive ranged attacks.
