The Water Well is a structure introduced in Scorched Earth and also available on Ragnarok, Valguero, Crystal Isles, Genesis: Part 2, Lost Island and Fjordur.

Usage

Water Wells need to be placed on top of Water Veins that can be found throughout the Scorched Earth map. Doing so will slowly fill up the well with water. The well can hold up to 1000 water units and will automatically refill if water is consumed from it.

In  ARK: Survival Ascended, Water Wells will wirelessly irrigate crops and taps, as well as other utility within a fixed radius (TBD), which can be extended to an area by placing a reservoir in the respective area within the base range of the well.

In  ARK: Survival Evolved, it is possible to snap stone and metal  Irrigation Pipes to the well to create an Irrigation system and water your plants. Both straight and vertical pipes can snap to the well. On official servers however, no structures - including pipes - may be built on or surrounding a Water Vein except the Water Well.

Water Vein Locations

Below are all of the Water Vein locations for Scorched Earth.

Notes

  • It is not possible to snap a pipe intake to the Water Well. To start an irrigation system from the well, you must use an irrigation pipe - straight, an irrigation pipe - vertical, or an irrigation pipe - inclined.
