Oil Vein is a resource node introduced in Scorched Earth and also available on Ragnarok, Valguero, Genesis: Part 1, Crystal Isles, Genesis: Part 2, Lost Island, and Fjordur. It allows the placement of an  Oil Pump on top of it for the extraction of  Oil.

They are found throughout the Low Desert and Badlands locations in the Scorched Earth DLC. There are 22 Oil Veins located in 16 distinct locations.

Usage

Oil Veins must have an Oil Pump placed on top of it to produce Oil. Once a pump is placed, it will produce 1 unit of Oil inside the inventory of the pump every 20 seconds.

Notes

• Oil Vein can be spawned by using command: cheat Summon oilvein_base_bp_c
  • Be careful! You can't destroy Oil Vein after spawning! (Admin Blink Rifle is not able to demolish it on "Destroy" setting)
