The Tek Surveillance Console is a structure introduced in Genesis: Part 2 and also available on Genesis: Part 1, Lost Island and Fjordur. It enables the survivor to monitor an area through a network of linked Cameras, somewhat reminiscent of the Scout Remote. From these cameras, the survivor is able to remotely interact with structures and creatures.
Usage
- In its inventory, the player may craft some
Tek Remote Cameras, then lay them on strategic points.
- To access the Cameras, press E,

on the Console.
- Move the view with the mouse or the analog stick.
- At the top left corner of the screen, a UI displays the main controls, such as name and coordinates of the Camera, its range and the main controls.
Controls
From outside of the Console, pressing E, ,

allows to access to the last Camera displayed.
With a long press on E, ,

, the player accesses to the Wheel menu, which allows:
- Access to the last Camera
- Access to the inventory
- Unlock
- Give a code pin
- Rename the Console
- Delete the Console
As the player has accessed to the Camera view, they have a wide view of the zone. An UI at the top left corner of the screen displays the main controls.

Notes
- The Tek Surveillance Console is the first Structure to be able to be remotely spoken through, whereas the Radio is the first Item.
- When remotely interacting with Structures the Tek Surveillance Console is able to access the full Structure Radial Menu, Excluding Demolishing & Inventory Access Prompts.
- When remotely interacting with Creatures the Tek Surveillance Console is able to access the full-extent of the Dino's Radial menu excluding Inventories and ride prompts.
- The surveillance console does has a 3000m maximum camera range, to rough estimates a console at the far end of the North Eden Zone mountain hide away ( the visible building under a mountain) can pick up use cameras in the middle of the Eden zone city roughly 100 foundations from the edge of the city.
- The Tek Surveillance Console is able to link unpaired
Cameras that are spawned in via commands.
