The Tek Surveillance Console is a structure introduced in Genesis: Part 2 and also available on Genesis: Part 1, Lost Island and Fjordur. It enables the survivor to monitor an area through a network of linked  Cameras, somewhat reminiscent of the Scout Remote. From these cameras, the survivor is able to remotely interact with structures and creatures.

  1. In its inventory, the player may craft some  Tek Remote Cameras, then lay them on strategic points.
  2. To access the Cameras, press E, Y, Triangle, X on the Console.
  3. Move the view with the mouse or the analog stick.
  4. At the top left corner of the screen, a UI displays the main controls, such as name and coordinates of the Camera, its range and the main controls.

From outside of the Console, pressing E, Y, Triangle, X allows to access to the last Camera displayed.

With a long press on E, Y, Triangle, X, the player accesses to the Wheel menu, which allows:

  • Access to the last Camera
  • Access to the inventory
  • Unlock
  • Give a code pin
  • Rename the Console
  • Delete the Console

As the player has accessed to the Camera view, they have a wide view of the zone. An UI at the top left corner of the screen displays the main controls.
