The Wooden Tree Platform is a dodecagonal (12-sided) structure which can be attached (only) to the largest trees within the Redwood Forest biome, hexagonal cliffs near the lighthouse and large lake trees on Ragnarok, giant jungle and aberration biome on Valguero. They are not usable in Aberration or Extinction.

Overview

Wooden Tree Platforms can be attached to the large, un-harvestable trees in the Redwood Forest. Each tree has two snap points, and you can attach a platform to both of them, for a two-story tree house or a floor+ceiling layout.

The lower snap point on the tree is well off the ground, requiring you to either build a wall+ladder system near the tree or to use a flying mount to place the platform. Any flyer will work; you can place the platform while in the saddle. You can also sometimes place it from the ground (on foot), but you will be unable to pick it up if you misplace it.

The platform does not have any snap points, so walls, ladders, etc. will not attach to it. Any ground-placeable structure can be placed on a tree platform, so you can use  Wooden Foundation or  Wooden Fence Foundation, etc., to place walls and build up your tree house. Due to the lack of snap points, careful alignment by hand will be required if you want a clean look.

Crafting stations ( Refining Forge,  Smithy, etc.), as well as chests,  Preserving Bin, and so on can be placed directly on the platform.

There are currently no trees with snap points for a tree platform on Aberration; however, you can use a  Metal Cliff Platform on cliffs.

• The Wooden Tree Platform is treated as a wooden structure and can not be damaged by hands, stone weapons, or non-explosive ranged attacks.
