The Thatch Door is the most basic door available. A door functions as a way to lock the entrance to a structure and seal the elements out. It does not provide much protection against attacks, as it can be broken easily. It is recommended to be upgraded to a Wooden Door and should only be used for a short-term base.

Construction

A Thatch Door can only be placed within a  Doorframe. Doing so allows the door to be locked or unlocked, allowing you to restrict access to a structure while still allowing you and your tribemates a way through.

Notes

• The insulation provided by a house is not affected by doors, whether the door is open, closed, or missing.
• Thatch structures are weak and provide very little defense against attacks by dinosaurs or other players.

• The Thatch Door is treated as a thatch structure and can be damaged by anything except non-explosive ranged attacks.
