Kibble (Glowtail Egg) was a  Basic Kibble in  ARK: Survival Evolved. Previously, this Kibble type was available in PC and console versions of until 293.100 on PC, 784.13 on Xbox and 533.14 on Playstation with Homestead! Kibble Rework patch, which changed the Kibble system to a quality-based types.

Overview

The main use of this  Kibble is to feed it to a creature that you are taming. Kibble has a higher taming effect than other food like  Berries or  Meat, meaning the taming meter will rise faster, while also dropping the Taming Effectiveness less, resulting in more extra levels when the taming process is finished. This Kibble is no longer craftable by any means.

Currently, this Kibble is used to forcefully tame  Dilophosaur,  Dodo,  Kairuku,  Parasaur, and  Phiomia and to passively tame  Mesopithecus.

For other creatures, this Kibble will be valued less than regular  Meat and  Berries (only 66% of their effectiveness) and thus is not advised to be used for those.

Notes/Trivia

• Prior to v293.100, this Kibble was craftable in the  Cooking Pot or  Industrial Cooker with 1 ×  Glowtail Egg, 3 ×  Aquatic Mushroom, 1 ×  Cooked Fish Meat, 2 ×  Mejoberry, 3 ×  Fiber, and 1 ×  Water.
