The Island ist eine Standart Welt von ARK: Survival Evolved. Es ist der erste bekannte ARK.
Übersicht
The Island besteht aus mehreren klimatischen und geologischen Regionen. Es gibt fünf große Berge im Norden und Ebenen im Süden. Drei große Obelisken formen ein Dreieck auf der Insel.
The Island Karte
The Island ist eine Insel, die von Wasser umgeben ist. Je mehr man Richtung Inselmitte reist, desto mehr Ressourcen findet man, jedoch wird es auch immer gefährlicher. Manche Gebiete sind unerträglich heiß bzw. kalt, was schnell zum Tod führen kann.
Auf The Island gibt es zwei Wetter Typen, Regen und Nebel. Wenn es regnet erhält man 
Wasser und es ist möglich sein 
Waterskin, 
Wasserglas, oder seine 
Feldflasche zu füllen. Wenn es neblig ist, fällt es schwer weit zu sehen.

Notes/Trivia
- On Xbox since v757: If you would like to play The Center map without advancing through The Island, launch the Island and then open the command menu. Type in cheat playercommand Ascend2. Once finished you'll be able to load The Center as normal.
- On PS4 since v510: If you would like to play The Center map without advancing through The Island ascension, launch the Island and then open the command menu. Type in cheat playercommand Ascend1. Once finished you'll be able to load The Center as normal.
