The Tek Binoculars are one of the Tools in ARK: Survival Ascended. They are unlocked by defeating the  Overseer (Alpha).

The Tek Binoculars combine the functions of the  Spyglass and the  Night Vision Goggles, able to both identify other survivors, creatures, and structures from great distances and let the user see much more clearly in the dark. They also come with an improved version of the  Scout's targeting feature, allowing a continuous tracking POI (Point of Interest) while close enough to the target, including structures.

Notes

• When looking at a creature or structure, all its stat values are shown, including the current, max and base values as well as mutations, levels and Color IDs.
• The Tek Binoculars are a more polished version of ARK: Survival Evolved's  Electronic Binoculars. They lack the functions of the  GPS and  Compass due to the map overhaul and the fact that those items were removed in ASA.
• Unlike the Electronic Binoculars, the Tek Binoculars can be used on tames which do not normally allow weapons to be drawn.
• The Tek Binoculars display a reticle when in hand even when not using them.
• You can adjust the Tek Binoculars' zoom with the up and down. The maximum zoom is slightly better then the Spyglass' zoom.
• The Tek Binoculars measure the distance from the player to the point the reticle is centered on in meters.
• Use the Secondary Attack while on a target to activate/deactivate the targeting feature.
• The Tek Binoculars' night vision effect can be combined with the Night Vision Goggles' effect.
