The GPS is one of the Tools in ARK: Survival Evolved. It is unlocked at Level 52 for 21 Engram Points.

Like the  Compass, the GPS is used to determine which direction the user is traveling in. However, the GPS also shows the user's exact location on the map by showing the user's current Latitude and Longitude. This makes the GPS perfect for pinpointing points of interest on the map, such as the location of the user's base or the spawn locations of  Supply Crates or  Deep Sea Loot Crates.

Notes

• Coloring the GPS a dark color can obscure the labels telling Latitude from Longitude, so it isn't recommended to dye the GPS at all.
