The Magnifying Glass is a tool that shows yields of a plant as well as the health of a creature or structure.

Usage

• When aimed at a Harvestable, the Magnifying Glass will show the items that can be obtained by that Harvestable — not necessarily the items that will be obtained from the Harvestable.
• When aimed at a creature, it will show its  Health and  Torpor stats. This can be helpful when attempting to tranquilize a creature that is getting low on  Health. This is not helpful when attempting to tranquilize a  Giganotosaurus or similar high  damage creatures such as  Spino or  Therizino because they will kill you rather quickly when you get close.
• When aimed at a structure, it will show its  Health.

Note. the range of the magnifying glass is only 1 foundation from the intended target in ideal circumstances. Nearby items and structures (e.g. a window in a taming pen) can get in the way when attempting to examine a Dino mid-tame. Larger creatures can sometimes require you to approach the legs to see the  Health and  Torpor stat.
