While most don't see the Basilisk apart from the Island's many bottom-of-the-food-chain critters, it is my opinion that this little guy definitely makes waves. Sorry, I couldn't miss the opportunity. The Basilisk is uniquely adapted for walking on water, something that it employs to out-manoeuvre anything that might try to harm it.
Their prehensile tongue rivals the 
Beelzebufo for function--if not in length--and while wild Basilisks are incredibly skittish, when properly encouraged they can use their tongue to gather 
Cementing Paste.

- Attacks with slightly longer than melee range, simialr to the Beelzebufo.
- Can walk and sprint across the water's surface. Despite realism, they can also stand idle on the water's surface.
- Harvests cementing paste from
Meganeura and 
Titanomyrma corpses at a similar rate to the Beelzebufo, but is significantly worse at gathering meat and chitin.
