- Taming
- Astrosiren spawn up to level 190. Adults have a high chance to spawn with an identically levelled infant.
- Astrosiren are tamed by using a Maewing to steal wild infants.
- Stats
- Controls
- Munch
- This attack can pick-up collectables from the ground and has a gather multiplier for resources such as Black Pearls and Element Dust.
- Taunt nearby enemies on a cooldown.
- While mounted, the Astrosiren will constantly facing the cursor (real-time rotation like the tapejara and trope).
- WASD Directional movement
- Shift Increase rotation speed and movement speed
- Space Ascend / Take-off
- C Descend (if applicable)
- X Toggle Hovering (if flying)
- While Hovering, they are functionally "walking" but with sufficient clearage from the ground to ignore small outcrops of geometry.
- This is usable both while floating in space or in the ocean, allowing the Astrosiren to toggle between swimming and walking on the seafloor.
- While in terrestrial environments, Astrosiren will attempt to "land" when you dismount (similar to flying creatures) - idling in hover mode.

- Gathers
Resource | Efficiency |
---|---|
Berries | ★★★★★ |
Element Dust | ★★★★★ |
Black Pearls | ★★★★★ |
Thatch | ★★★★☆ |
Wood | ★★☆☆☆ |
The destructible environmental pieces in the Ocean Biome in the Genesis Simulation should provide resources that the Astrosiren would be good at harvesting - such as fungal wood or mushrooms, or perhaps a new 'Coral' item that is a substitute for wood but is also edible by herbivores to provide food/health comparable to raw meat.
