Krill are an aquatic invertebrate that occupy a huge space at the bottom of the food chain - something they do very well owing to their astounding ability to reproduce. So long as two in any particular swarm survive, the population will bloat in a matter of days. In-game days, that is. Will not a particularly good source of meat individually, krill are found in such quantity that they are the primary source of food for the gigantic 
Basilosaurus.

- Krill spawns in swarms, similar to
Allosaurus, and will merge with other nearby swarms. - Individual specimens have the appearance of multiple organisms, to artificially increase the size of their swarms without an intense contribution to server limits.
- While Krill are rendered, they will rapidly reproduce up to a limit. Players can trap individuals within an enclosed area to create farms.
- Krill are naturally pursued by Basilosaurus and
Ichthyosaurus. - Krill are automatically harvested when killed, regardless of what killed it (including Herbivores).
- In addition to their abysmal yield, Krill will also directly restore 25 Food and 12.5 Health to the killer.
