Notes/Trivia

  • The fish nets that the mission provides are able to be easily broken if they come into contact with a Piranha (outlined in red when holding a net) or if the net is tugged too far from its starting position. If the player brings their own nets, they are unbreakable and still count towards fish caught. They also will collect the same resources that they normally would, despite the fish being part of the mission. This can be used as an easy source of fish if a player is having trouble finding them elsewhere.
    • You can manually exterminate Piranha with whatever weaponry or tames you have so that your nets won’t be broken by them.
  • Players can bring a Pachyrhinosaurus with a high health pool to the mission and use it to corral many fish into a tight space with its ram attack, and quickly rack up points in a much shorter time. Be sure to have high armor to prepare for the risk of getting attacked by the fish, as there are many Sabertooth Salmon in addition to the Megapiranha. This strategy is best utilized with a tribe mate, that way one can focus on fishing while the other player moves the fish into position.
