The Bear Caverns is a region in the Fjordur DLC The Entrance of the cave is located at 9.94 latitude and 84.35 Longitude below a fallen redwood tree next to the waterfall
Overview
The Bear Caverns is a large, multi-chambered cave in the western part of Vannaland, Fjordur's largest continent. Its biome is comparable to the forest surrounding its entrance, and it is lit throughout by unharvestable glowing crystals and impenetrable "skylights" which let in light from the world above.
After a winding entrance tunnel, the cave opens up into a multi-level main area where many creatures spawn.
One of the tunnels in the main room leads to an area with harvestable bee hives, much like the hive in Crystal Isles, but much smaller, and populated by 
Araneo and 
Titanoboa rather than 
Bees. At the end of this room, there is another room that can be entered by crouching, which spawns no creatures and has a good amount of loot crates that can easily be accessed with 
Grappling Hook.
Fliers cannot be ridden into the cave, with the exclusion of 
Desmodus. As the name suggests, the majority of the cave is populated by 
Dire Bear, so be sure to come prepared for either stealth or combat.
Tips
A high-level and mutated Shadowmane is possibly the best mount for this cave. Use the cat's invisibility and jump to traverse the cave, the killing blow ability is invaluable as well. Just remember to bring a Cryopod to get it past any choke points.
