The Abyssal Depths are a region in the Fjordur DLC.

Overview

It's an underwater cave which entrance is below the southern coasts of Bolbjord in (52.1/16.0).

The waters are very cold (-13 °C, 8 °F) and the depths are such that the  Basilosaurus will suffer from overpressure.

A hudge skeleton is laying across the trench. At the bottom is lava that enlight the area, and some mineral resources.

Depending on the depth, the region may be called Vardiland (upper zone), Abyssal Depths (medium zone, sandy plateaus), or Wild Life (deepest zone, lava trench).

Wildlife is sparse, however, there can occasionally be dangerous predators:
